Idk how your all defending android but to each his own, ive switched from apple to blackberry, samsung and still end up back with my iphone, any phone will break when you drop it(besides motorola) but the software is much easier to use and has the most useful tools in my opinion.

Apple just has superior marketing and build quality but lacks specs when compared to android phones for the same price. Also, iphone screens are built to crack so people are more inclined to get apple care which is part of apple's model to make money. Android screens, like for example samsung, are significantly stronger than iphone's.
