Thursday: Requiem of Playdead

With a little heads up that Playdead was trying to have a trip earlier than they have in weeks we instantly began massing. During the mass we listened as they went from Vetion, to Lava Dragons, to 50 Portals before moving to Altar to hide as we entered the wilderness. Giving them the chance to think they were safe we continued on with a couple of other hits we had prepared for ourselves at Callisto and Vetion.

Having jumped all around deep wilderness waiting for Playdead to make their next move they finally decided to come back to Vetion while we were at Spider having just ran into Vengeance. Outnumbering them by quite a few we pushed them to single and fought back and forth for a few minutes as we took a few down. Hearing a clan was rushing from the west at 19 portals we switched our focus cleared them out before taking a group bank to finally go hit PD.

After about 45 minutes of hiding they sent newly promoted Matt over to Venenatis to look around and see how many people we actually had. Given their difficulties pulling more than 20 people after their long list of removals they wanted to avoid tonight's inevitable outcome. Quickly hopping around it wasn't more than a minute before we logged into them and the fight kicked off. As we moved north out of the trees of Vetion and out in the open we took control of the fight from the very start. With one spear after another every Playdead member was sent to join the others in Lumbridge. The suicide mentality was still strong tonight as the five in game attempted to barrage in black hides but to no avail. Down to the last few in game VR began scouting the world and the last few Playdead standing ran to singles as we got a fall in and took ending.

Knowing they'd try to get a fake ending we quickly re-supplied and ran back up. Half teleported out and the other half ran to single as we went east and took another fall in for minutes waiting for Playdead's next move. It became painfully obvious they weren't going to do anything so we moved it south where they were hiding in the trees outside of the Corp Cave and pushed the rodents to single where they would stay for the rest of the night.

For the fourth night in a row Playdead has been absolutely decimated. Fought back in multi for all of 5 minutes. Are you having fun yet? We are.
