Gaming Laptop

Recommended Posts

My MacBook is NOT cutting it! Please give me some suggestions. Not even considering desktops. I need a laptop so it’s portable and I can do my work on it as well as game. Essentially, I will be replacing my MacBook.

Thanks guys!

Dude any apple products especially their computers are overpriced garbage tbh.

Go for at least 16GB RAM, i7 or Ryzen 7 (3+ghz) at least a 1650 GPU, 512GB SSD with additional 1TB+ HDD storage and depending on what games you are into you can stick with a normal 1080p 60hz monitor or get it upped to 144hz if you are into shooters and that as I've seen many laptops with those screen options now though they can get pricey.

I agree now that I’ve owned one. Thanks a ton. I actually only play OSRS! I’ll check out the links here. 👍🏼

Looked at links and they are a bit out of my price range.. I know this one doesn’t have the specs you mentioned but if I am just using for work, school, and OSRS, give me your honest opinion.

Ah I see yea the ones I linked would have been in CAD I'm guessin you'll be using USD so the one you linked me is still a solid enough price at probs 1k CAD but in saying that yea it'll be decent overall for the things you plan on using it for, OSRS could run on a toaster then work and school etc requires just basic specs so yea even if you go for that it'll be hella better than that current mac and lesson learned to stay away from that rip off ass company in future ha

I didn’t even think about the conversion rate. Thanks for your help.. I’ll probably try to line up a sale for my Mac before I do anything.

Build one lul

I might one day. That’s like ultimate dream. I’m absolutely clueless on how to build on though so I’d have someone do it for me.
