♆Furioso Nex 85 Posted February 4, 2022 Alright guys, I'm making this guide to kind of help with everyone with killing Nex. This is by far one of the best money making bosses right now and is very easy to do. Its drops consists of: -Torva platebody: 415m -Torva Platelegs: 430m Torva Helm: 170m Nihl Horn: 430m Zaryte Vambraces: 180m Ancient Hilt: 65m And obviously random food, brew, restore, item drops, and pet First, You have to kill zammy, armadyl, bandos, and sara boss once. You have to get the boss kill in order to get the key pieces. The Fastest way to do so is go to the wildy god wars dungeon and blood Barrage groups of the minions to get ecumenical keys. Its easy right in the center to keep running them around rocks to group them up. The best gear is similar to the set up below except a saradomin crozier instead of coif and where a bandos style blessing and mystic boots. The picture below is near the rock where you want to use blood barrage. Once you get 5 ecumenical keys go kill all 4 godwars bosses and get the key pieces to open the frozen gate south of the entrance to gwd. NEXT IMPORTANT: make sure when you go to enter the ancient chamber to wear a ancient item. you can rebank when entering the door outside of nex. If you choose to not use keys you can kill the mages or the bloodreavers to get kc (mages give 5, bloodreavers give 3). Once in the bank make sure you gear accordingly or better. Best in slot range is the best. the more DPS you do the better. So if you have a t bow and zartye cbow that is best in slot. You use acb or zcb and ruby dragon bolt e to kill nex and then t bow the minions. This is the best dps. As far as inventory i bring this set up because i feel comfortable with it. Nex's minions count for 2 kc, the bloodreavers (on 3rd faze) counts as 3kc, and nex himself counts as 5. You want to try the best to get 40 kc before you leave so you can go right back into the bank area. To go into the bank area you go to the alter and press tele. Make sure you pray mage if you dont have a ancient item on because the minions in the ancient chamber will destroy you. Then you can re-enter the bank area (40kc or key) and go back at it again. IMPORTANT: IF YOU DIE! DO NOT DIE AGAIN OR LOG OUT YOU WILL LOSE YOUR ITEMS. The first room you enter after u open the ancient gate with the key has a chest inside. If you died you can retrieve your items there. You have 1 hour to do so. If you die in the minions you will have 15 minutes to retrieve and if you die again you lose all your stuff as well. TIME FOR NEX PHASES (pray mage, range, mage, mage, mage). The first step is mage, keep your distance and range him (do not attack him until he says his second sentence). This phase someone may get the "cough". Stay away from the person or hug the wall if you have it because it will drain your prayer and range really fast. Once he is lowered to 2720 hp, you can attack fumus. Once you kill fumus round 2 will start and you need to pray range and keep as far as possible from him (use long range you will take less damage). The closer you are the more damage his spikes do. He may summon black holes under each player, STAY OFF OF THEM. they can hit 40s or 50s on you. Once he hits 2040 hp you will kill his second minion Umbra. The next step is the easiest which is nex's blood step. He picks a person to drain their blood and if its you run as far away from him as you can. Its similar to the ancient godsword spec but it will hit like 35s on you. Its best to stay next to him this phase and pray mage. He may summon bloodreavers this phase. you can either kill them for kc or do my dps on nex. Once he hits 1360 hp he will summon his third minion, Cruor. Kill cruor and then you will be on nex's 3rd phase. This is where you will take the most damage and you need to try to keep your hp up. DO NOT STAND NEXT TO HIM. If he says "encage this" or something like that he will have spikes in a 2 step radius come up and freeze you and take off your prayer. He can also cast a freeze spells that encages you. THIS CAN HIT UP TO 75. Someone can break you out with a crush weapon mainly a dragon warhammer. Once you get him to 680 hp he summons his last minion glacies. Kill glacies. and then your on the final phase. He will use soulsplit and use a mage attack. THE BEST THING TO DO IS DD on him in melee distance and pray mage., if he melees you flick your prayers between mage and melee. if everyone dont dd he will use a mage attack that drains your prayer and do like 15 dmg. When you kill him it is important you run as far away from him cause his retribution can hit 50s and kill you. Then you get your drop. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE! Share this post Link to post
